Ambassadors
Program
The Ambassador Program is central to the success of the Animals & Religion website and will be featured on the Ambassador Page. Volunteer ambassadors—including scholars, faith leaders, and activists of faith—serve as trusted insiders, ensuring that website content is reliably grounded in today’s lived religious traditions. Ambassadors ensure that posts are both theologically sound and oriented toward tangible change in the here and now. They ensure that content on this website is well suited to the needs of people of faith, as well as to those who teach for, organize within, or advocate among faith communities.
Animals & Religion Website Ambassadors speak from within their own faith communities. Our ambassadors have a demonstrated commitment to alleviating animal suffering and advancing animal liberation, and to working respectfully across all branches of their faith tradition.
